Movsy helps groups of friends actually agree on what to watch. Everyone swipes on titles, sorting them into Superhype, Watchlist, Watched, or Blacklist, and the app surfaces what the group actually wants to see together.
It’s built natively for both platforms with a Go backend: my brother-in-law builds the Android app, I build the iOS app, and we split the backend work between us. It started as our final degree projects and we’re now pushing it toward a real launch — we’re roughly 75% there, with one key feature, monetization, and a round of polish still ahead.
There’s no public repository or live site yet, so the screenshots here are from the onboarding flow we designed for the eventual release.
